Description
Take a drive around Victoria, Australia, in spring and you will see so many yellow paddocks filled with canola flowers. Canola as far as the eye can see. You will be amazed at how beautiful it looks. The oil from canola is used for cooking and baking at home, restaurants and in food processing plants. Canola oil also has non-food uses - for example biodiesel and bio-plastics. Canola meal, the part left over after the seeds are crushed and the oil extracted, is used for animal feed, pet food and fertilizer. This photo was taken between Willaura and Streatham.

Thank you Elaine. There are so many beautiful fields of canola over here in Spring. I always loved the wildflowers in WA when I lived there.
