Description
Not far from the world famous 12 Apostles, along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia is Loch Ard Gorge, the site of a famous shipwreck. The Loch Ard ran aground crashing into Mutton Bird Island in 1878. The only two teenage survivors managed to drag themselves to the safety of the beach at Loch Ard Gorge. Millions of tourists flock to the region every year, going from one tourist destination to another along the Great Ocean Road.
